UUUGGGHHH......I started out kind of strong...and here I go...making excuses, finding other "more important" things to do, etc! Deep down, I truly believe that one can find time for ANYTHING that is important to them. There really should be no excuses!
Examples: (from my own life)
Oh, sorry, I was so busy yesterday I didn't have time to call you back!
When you truly think about it, there's always five minutes here or there that can be used to call someone back. Unless it's someone who doesn't get the clue that you have to hang up and keeps talking and talking! That can be tricky!
I didn't have time to make the bed when I got up this morning.
Really, you didn't stand there watching your coffee brew so you could scoop up the first cup before it was even finished? That was at least two minutes you had free!!
And my most recent excuse:
I just had NO TIME to excercise because my car blew up and my husband had to drive me around and then we had to go car shopping and then I had to sell my old car and then I had to get the title transferred...and then...and then...and then....
Hmmmm...I do somewhat remember making time to watch the Amazing Race during that "CRAZY" week of mine!
So I should be sitting here blogging about the excercise I performed, not the excuses I made!!! It's too easy to "pretend" life is getting in the way! I do believe there is one exception.. if you have kids, that's a DEFINITE BONAFIED excuse maker! Kids are WORK! I don't know how you people do it!!! But, for me, with a houseful of canines, not kiddos, THERE IS NO EXCUSE!!
So, I come to you with my tail between my legs, saying that I am LAZY and I'm not focusing on the task I promised myself I would! But this is a promise to myself to change that starting....uh...well, maybe tomorrow...I'm kind of busy today......
